Sally Ní Dhuibhir

Sally Ní Dhuibhir is a fluent Irish speaker from Gweedore, Co Donegal who started her professional career as a radio presenter with RTE Radio na Gaeltachta and who, for the past 25 years, has worked in television as a freelance researcher, production manager and producer.  Sally has experience working extensively in a wide range of programmes from documentaries, Irish language, entertainment and in particular, music, working for RTE, BBC and TG4 television.

Sally also works as a BCO on many music programmes, Other Voices Series 1 -15, Two Sounds live from the Mansion house, Christy Moore at the Point, The Planxty Reunion @ Vicar Street, Celtic Rock at the Quays, Notre Dame @ 3 Arena, to mention but a few.

Sally has also worked as Production Manager for Bórd Scannán na hÉireann,  Festival Manager on the Galway Film Fleadh, Project Manager on the cross border music project ‘Cultures of Ulster’, Festival Programmer on the Celtic Media Festival, Galway, and as Events Production Manager on the Derry/Londonderry UK City of Cuture 2013. Some of the events managed during this time include ‘London Symphony Orchestra’, ‘Primal Scream’, ‘Status Quo’, ‘Nile Rodgers & Chic’, Buena Vista Social Club’, ‘Barry Douglas & Camarata Ireland at the Guildhall’, and the opening concert ‘Sons & Daughters’.
